Good Morning Government Shutdown!

So if you didn't know...HAPPY GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN!

Actually, take the happy out, because this is a bunch of bull shit. I can't believe where we are as a country with our politicians. It disgusts me. We have elected officials who are derailing our country and undermining the people's voice for a few extremists in office and in our country. Really? Wow.

I went online and basically looked at how my Louisiana politicians voted on things, and of course, all the House Reps of Louisiana voted for the amendment to repeal Obama Care. Although I know personally I did not vote for any of these representatives, is saddens me that they are still in office for mostly having people do just that. Not vote for them BUT also NOT VOTING IN GENERAL.

I think this should put US citizens up in arms. We need to remember we have a democratic process and we did our part. We showed as a country we want Obama Care in some form by keeping him in office, the courts showed support of it by upholding that Obama Care is NOT unconstitutional. Now we need to look to the legislative and change that to support the initiative and TAKE OUT these ignorant and selfish assholes.

If you don't vote, then you need to stop complaining because in a way that means you allowed this shutdown to happen. And if you don't think it means anything to you, maybe this is the country and politicians we deserve because we ourselves have become so selfish and ignorant as those we allow in office. I truly do believe in this country, but the people and politicians make me wonder where are we going and if we will ever become the people and country I know we can be.

You don't get instant access and the on demand changes in our government and system. You have to work towards them. You want change? GO FUCKING DO SOMETHING YOU LAZY ASSHOLES LIKE VOTE.
